About Peleg Assulin

Peleg Assulin is a fashion designer who uses clothing as a form of storytelling, combining a bold maximalist aesthetic with strong technical and industry experience. His work is layered, expressive, and intentional- each garment contributing to a broader narrative around identity, individuality, and emotion. He has worked across a couture bridal company, a Broadway costume shop, and an avant-garde sustainable streetwear brand, developing a wide-ranging understanding of craftsmanship, construction, and performance-driven design.

Sustainability is central to Peleg’s practice. Through repurposing and reinvention, he transforms existing materials into elevated, meaningful garments, treating responsibility not as a limitation but as a creative force. For Peleg, fashion functions as an essential language- direct, emotional, and unapologetically human.

About The Collection

Created in a world marked by ongoing conflict, this collection reflects on war not only as destruction, but as a force that reshapes love, identity, and human connection. It tells a story of lovers interrupted by history- of absence, resilience, and transformation. The garments balance softness and strength, drawing inspiration from wartime role shifts, particularly the moment when women stepped into spaces once reserved for men.

Upcycled military garments, vintage workwear, and repurposed coffee sacks are transformed into emotionally charged silhouettes. Fabrics are hand-dyed using natural methods- coffee and tea- introducing warmth, imperfection, and memory into each piece. Sustainability is integral, embedded through reuse and slow, intentional processes.

Blending masculine structure with delicate, fluid details, the collection challenges traditional gender binaries. Ultimately, it is a reflection on the fragility of love in times of rupture- and a reminder that even from loss, something compassionate, inclusive, and enduring can emerge.
